Holycrap what a big layer of dust on this website.. A hundred times sorry for not updating as much as we used to! Due to our Facebook page being very popular, we sometimes forget that we have a website. I hope I can post a few updates on our team’s progress, results and adventures soon, but let me start with our most recent video. Our DriftCrue buddy Bauke made this video happen with his magic editting skills, and even though its one of our own video’s, it honestly is one of my all time favorites! Check it out!
France’s major RC Drift competition Grip Zero was so good last year, Bop and I decided to go to Roanne again a few weeks ago. A 1000km trip awaited us on friday morning and Bop and I were ready to hit the road in Bop’s tiny Mazda. With a year of practicing packing light, we even had space left in the car. We were on our way for yet another awesome weekend in France!
Recently I’ve been selling off a big part of my collection. I’ve sold my buggy, a bunch of bodyshells and a lot of other stuff. This meant I had room left in the budget for a new car, and I knew exactly what I wanted. The new 3Racing Sakura D3! Here’s a build report on it, but beware.. Its a bit different than you might think!
Its time for another product review. A brand new servo manufacturer was kind enough to send me one of their new brushless low profile servo’s a few weeks ago, the RC OMG HDT045070B. I’ve been using it in my competition drift car since then to give it a proper test. Read my test results after the jump.
For last weekends demo at the 100% Tuning show in Rotterdam our buddy Edwin and I decided to finish our long overdue J-policecar project. The cars were obviously build in a different style. Edwins R34 is a scale replica, whereas mine is a typical drift car with a police theme. They did look damn cool running next to each other on track though! Before we smashed the cars to bits, we decided to take some cool pictures with the RC Drift Events scenery.
