In Part 4 of the Pro Tips with Jilles Groskamp, Groskamp continues assembling his championship winning TRF416WE. He tells you how to assemble the chassis without any tweak, including the stabilizers. He also has some tips on how to maintain your CVD’s and how to reduce or increase the play on various parts throughout the chassis.
Even though brushless motors require much less maintenance than the old brushed motors do, but that doesn’t mean you can forget about them. Proper maintenance keeps your motor alive and eventually saves you lots of money, as a new motor is expensive.
Here’s 3 video’s made by Speedpassion that explain how to rebuild and clean your Speedpassion V3.0 brushless motor. Now even though these video’s are for 1 specific type motor, the maintenance tips apply to all types of sensored brushless motors.
