In this final part of the Pro Tips with Jilles Groskamp, Groskamp continues where he left of in part 4. The final tweaks of the chassis like rideheight, droop and camber will be adressed.
In the search for more steering angle, one of the key things is the steering system of the car, and with that the axles. There are some brands out there that make axles especially designed for lots of lock, like Overdose and Square, but there is also the opportunity to modify the factory ones.

He also has some tips on how to maintain your CVD’s and how to reduce or increase the play on various parts throughout the chassis.

Last summer I bought a Tamiya TA05 Eagle Racing conversion for testing. I’ve been trying it on several meetings and demo’s since, but it couldn’t convince me to retire my former chassis which is a HPI Pro4.
